Ali İl

Ali İl was born on November 16, 1981 in Istanbul. Shaping his education in this direction with his interest in theater and acting, İl graduated from Istanbul University State Conservatory, Department of Theatre. The actor, who gained experience on the theater stage during and after his conservatory education, stepped into the world of television in the early 2000s. Although he took part in productions such as "Sıdır Dünyası" in the early years of his career, his first notable performance was as Kerem in the 2005 TV series "Ihlamurlar Altında". The project that made Ali İl known by the masses and increased his popularity was the long-running drama series "Little Women", which was broadcast between 2008 and 2011. The actor, who won the love of the audience with the character of Ali he played in this series, continued his screen journey by taking part in TV series such as "Beğen Bitmesin". In the cinema, he received full marks from critics with his performance in award-winning films such as "Children of Another Semtin" (2008). The biggest breaking point in his career and the performance that made him unforgettable undoubtedly came with the phenomenon series "Poyraz Karayel", which was broadcast between 2015 and 2017. In the series, he played the character "Sadreddin Umman", the son of mafia boss Bahri Umman. He portrayed this complex and aggressive role, in which he reflected his effort to prove himself to his father, his jealousy towards Poyraz, his tantrums and the fragile child within him, so successfully that the character of Sadreddin became one of the most iconic figures of the series. This role proved that Ali İl can successfully play not only a good family boy, but also challenging characters with psychological depth. Ali İl, who expanded his acting range and turned to different genres after "Poyraz Karayel", also exhibited his talent in the romantic comedy genre with his role as Kaan in the TV series "Ver Elini Aşk" (2017). Recently, he has portrayed a more calm and mature portrait with the character of Commissioner Melih in the phenomenon series "Sadakatsiz" (2020-2022), while he has presented a warm and sympathetic performance to the audience with the character of Atakan in the series "Güzel Günler" (2022).
