Ayşen İnci

Ayşen İnci was born on June 7, 1955, in Ankara, Turkey. She graduated from Cumhuriyet Anatolian High School and, in 1974, from the Higher Theatre School of the Ankara State Conservatory. After graduation, she began working as an actress at the Ankara State Theatre, where she performed over 20 leading roles until 1997, including in plays such as "Üç Kız Kardeş", "Kanlı Nigar", "Keşanlı Ali Destanı", "Kördüğüm", "Kozalar", and others. Since 1997, she has been working at the Istanbul State Theatre. She gained widespread popularity for her role as Periliçe in the series "Sihirli Annem" (2003-2011). She also appeared in "Şahsiyet" (2018), "Evlilik Hakkında Her Şey" (2021), "Üvey Anne" (2023), and other series. Her film credits include "Kadın İşi: Banka Soygunu" (2013) and "Sihirli Annem: Periler Okulu" (2026). In 2006, she received the Lions Best Actress Award for her performance in the play "Tek Kişilik Düet" (about a violinist with multiple sclerosis). She is the author of the children's book "Peri Kraliçesinden Masallar" and the short story collection for adults "PİSİkolojik Öyküler", the proceeds of which she donates to the education of young people with multiple sclerosis. Ayşen İnci is the president of the Turkish Multiple Sclerosis Association and actively works on advocacy related to this condition. She also teaches theatre, writes scripts for theatre and film, and has served as deputy director of the Istanbul State Theatre. Ayşen İnci is not married.
