Belçim Bilgin

Belçim Bilgin (born January 31, 1983, Ankara, Turkey) is an acclaimed Turkish television and film actress, and producer. Of Kurdish descent, she initially studied Information Management at Hacettepe University before moving to Paris, France, where she studied acting and starred in her first European cinema projects. She achieved monumental global recognition and star status with her breathtaking performance as Deniz in the cult romantic drama "Love Likes Coincidences" ("Aşk Tesadüfleri Sever"). She solidified her international mega-star status leading critically acclaimed cinematic masterpieces, including the biographical drama "The Butterfly's Dream" ("Kelebeğin Rüyası"), the emotional hit "Only You" ("Sadece Sen"), and the crime series "Intersection" ("Kördüğüm"). Fast Facts: She is a dedicated UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. She has represented Turkish cinema at major international events, including the Cannes Film Festival. In 2020, she legally altered her screen name to Belçim B. Bilgin. Marital Status: Single (divorced). She was previously married to legendary Turkish filmmaker and actor Yılmaz Erdoğan for 12 years (2006–2018), with whom she shares a son named Rodin Nazım. She is currently in a long-term relationship with prominent Italian-Canadian designer Alfredo Castello.
