Bertan Asllani

Bertan Asllani was born on July 3, 1990, in Skopje, North Macedonia, into an Albanian family. He grew up in Skopje and learned Turkish during his childhood. His father was a well-known watchmaker at the Old Turkish Bazaar in Skopje. From an early age, Bertan showed an interest in music and sports. At 13, he set up his own studio and began composing music. His music career started very early — in 2003, at the age of 13, he released his debut album, which, despite living in Macedonia, was in Albanian, even though Asllani didn't know the language at the time. He participated in the Top Fest 2 festival in 2005 with the song "Akoma të du". After success in Macedonia and Albania, where he released two albums and many music videos, he moved to Turkey, where his career took off. He released the Turkish song "Damla Damla", which became very popular. As a composer, he wrote songs for famous Turkish artists such as Murat Dalkılıç, Demet Akalın, and Gülben Ergen. Among his best-known compositions are "Bir Hayli" for Murat Dalkılıç, "Gidenlerin Kalanları" for Demet Akalın, and "Bugünün Sevdalısı" for Gülben Ergen. Bertan's acting career began in 2013 when director Gani Müjde, after watching his "Damla Damla" music video, invited him to the series "Pis Yedili". This was his debut on Turkish television. He later appeared in many popular series, including: "Göç Zamanı" (2016), where he played the son of Talat Bulut's character; "Kimse Bilmez" (2019); "Evlilik Hakkında Her Şey" (2021); "Gecenin Ucunda" (2022); "Yabani" (2023), where he played Alaz and won an award for Best TV Couple alongside Rojbin Erden; "Atatürk" (2024-2025), where he portrayed Ali Fethi Okyar. He also starred in films such as "Akrep" (2021), "Öğrenci Evi" (2021), "Etkileyici" (2021), and others. In 2026, he appeared in the series "Doktor: Başka Hayatta". Bertan Asllani is known for his versatility — he successfully combines careers as an actor, singer, and composer. He is passionate about sports, particularly football, and leads an active lifestyle. On social media, he often shares moments from his work and travels. Bertan Asllani has been married to actress Hazal Şenel since 2020. The couple met on the set of the series "Pis Yedili", where they played lovers.
