Bora Cengiz

Bora Cengiz was born on 9 December 1990 in Istanbul, Turkey. He graduated from the Acting Department of Kadir Has University. His mother is the well-known photographer Özlem İşbilir and his father is airline captain Tayfun Cengiz. He began his acting career in 2008 with the children's fantasy series Peri Masalı, playing Tolga opposite Serenay Sarıkaya. His film debut was Kıskanmak (2009). He then appeared in Kavak Yelleri (2010, as Cihan), Türkan (2010–2011, as Tuğrul Saylan), Sana Bir Sır Vereceğim (2013–2014), Yedi Güzel Adam (2014), Çilek Kokusu (2015, as Gani), Bodrum Masalı (2016, as Cenk), Servet (2018), Tutunamayanlar (2020, as Tunç), Ramo (2020), Alev Alev (2021), Kalp Yarası (2021–2022, as Mirza Tekin), Alparslan: Büyük Selçuklu (2022–2023, as Alexander), Ömer (2023–2024, as Atilla Özgün) and İnci Taneleri (2024–2025, as Arcan Gümüşkaya). His film work also includes Fenomen (2016), Zaferin Rengi (2024) and Doğulu (2025). Besides acting, he works as a musician, photographer and director, and once worked in radio. In 2014 he released the album Gidene. As a director he made the short works Sükut (2007) and Eller (2008). He supports Fenerbahçe. In late 2025 the Turkish press reported on his relationship with actress Ahu Yağtu.
