Cezmi Baskın

Cezmi Baskin started theater as an amateur at Bakırköy Public House. Later, he worked as a trainee actor at the same theater. Cezmi Baskin, who completed his education at Istanbul Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences, studied theater at LCC Language and Culture Center, where he was taught by Ayla Algan and Beklan Algan. The artist, who worked in Grup Actors for a while, also worked in Ankara Art Theater and State Theatres. He served at Ankara Art Theater for many years, excluding compulsory city changes and military service. He participated in this theater's efforts to train young actors as an instructor. He played at the Izmir State Theater for two seasons, but then returned to the Ankara Art Theatre. He acted in dramas on TRT and did some dubbing work. Baskin, who tried to manage movies, TV series and theater side by side, directed many plays and staged youth plays at Ankara Art Theater and Gökkuşağı Players. He made observation and study trips abroad. He tried to convey his experiences as an instructor to Turkish and foreigners there. He acted in plays produced by Turks abroad. Cezmi Baskin, who conducted workshops at the Afro - Asiatische Institut in Austria, also implemented and played his own projects in various cities in Europe. He toured Switzerland, Austria and Germany with Robert Schneider's play Filth. Cezmi Baskin, who has not starred in any commercials to date, is a member of ÇASOD (Contemporary Cinema Actors Association) and FIA (International Federation of Actors). He has been taking part as a volunteer in Nâzım Hikmet plays staged by Yılmaz Onay as a reading theater during the traditional Nazım Days of the Nâzım Hikmet Cultural Center since 2004.
