Emre Karayel

Theater, film, and television series actor, and television presenter. Born on October 18, 1972, in Osmaniye, Turkey. After graduating from Ankara Atatürk Anatolian High School, he initially studied Economics at the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences at Gazi University. However, before completing the program, he transferred to the Theater Department of Bilkent University, graduating in 1999. Following his graduation, he began working at the national broadcaster TRT, where he hosted and produced children's programs. Emre Karayel stepped into professional acting in 2000 with the TRT series "Ablam Böyle İstedi". He gained widespread recognition with roles in "Kuzenlerim" (2002) and the hit drama "Bir İstanbul Masalı" (An Istanbul Tale, 2003). His ultimate career breakthrough and nationwide fame came with his leading role in the phenomenon comedy sitcom "1 Kadın 1 Erkek" (1 Woman 1 Man, 2008–2015). His extensive portfolio features prominent roles in highly successful television productions, including the hit drama "Gümüş", the action franchise "Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu" (Valley of the Wolves: Ambush), and the comedy-drama "Canım Ailem". Alongside his acting career, he is an accomplished TV host, with his most recent major project being the game show "Sıradaki Gelsin". Interesting facts: Holding a professional drama degree from the prestigious Bilkent University, he is widely regarded as one of Turkey's finest comedy actors. He continuously balances his artistic achievements on screen and stage with hosting high-rated television game shows.
