Esra Ronabar

Esra Ronabar (born July 19, 1978, Ödemiş) is a highly respected Turkish theater, film, and television actress. She initially studied Chemistry at Ankara University but dropped out to follow her passion for arts, graduating from the Theater Department of Ankara University's Faculty of Language, History, and Geography. She spent many years performing in prestigious state theaters. She made a successful TV debut in 2003. She gained widespread recognition with leading roles in the hit family drama "An Istanbul Tale" ("Bir İstanbul Masalı") and the sci-fi fantasy "I Will Tell You a Secret" ("Sana Bir Sır Vereceğim"). One of her most acclaimed roles was the villainous Arzu in the global drama smash "Cennet's Tears" ("Cennet'in Gözyaşları"). She won the prestigious Sadri Alışık Theater Award for Best Actress. Fast Facts: In 2013, she survived a severe car accident that forced her into a long recovery period before her triumphant return to the screen. Marital Status: Married to famous actor Barış Falay since 2006. They have a son named Mavi Rüzgar.
