Gümeç Alpay Aslan

Gümeç Alpay Aslan was born on January 18, 1984, in Ankara, Turkey. She completed her primary and secondary education in Çanakkale. In 2003, she entered the Theatre Department of the State Conservatory at Istanbul University (İstanbul Üniversitesi Devlet Konservatuvarı Sahne Sanatları Bölümü) and graduated in 2007. Her film debut came in 2008 with the movie "Adab-ı Muaşeret". That same year, she appeared in the series "Melekler Korusun". In 2010, she played the lead role in "Serçe Sarayı", and in 2011, she acted in "Seni Bana Yazmışlar". She has also appeared in the series "Ufak Tefek Cinayetler" (2017), "Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem" (season 2, as Şivekar Sultan), "Gönül İşleri", "Aşk 101" (2020), and in films such as "Unutursam Fısılda", "Olanlar Oldu", "Çat Kapı Aşk", "Ölümlü Dünya" (2018), "Tam Bir Centilmen" (2024), and "Platonik: Mavi Dolunay Otel" (2025). The actress also actively works in theatre, performing in productions such as "Sıfır Derecede Aşk" (2010), "Üç Kız Kardeş" (2013, as Natalya), "Zamanın Durduğu An" (2016), "Kadın Kafası" (2018), "Karanlıkta Komedi" (2023), and "Femme Fatale" (2025). Gümeç Alpay Aslan is an active animal rights advocate, known for her love of cats and her willingness to help stray animals. Colleagues describe her as an incredibly cheerful, energetic, friendly, and hospitable person who is an excellent cook. In her free time, she enjoys music and traveling. Gümeç Alpay Aslan is married. Together with her husband, she is raising two children.
