Halil Ibrahim Babür

Theater, film, and television series actor, playwright, and director. Born on June 26, 1987, in Bitlis, Turkey. He pursued his formal higher education at Istanbul Haliç University, successfully graduating from the Theater Department of the Conservatory. He launched his professional stage career during his university years. He made his official television debut in 2007, appearing in minor roles across several series. Halil Babür captured his first widespread public recognition on television by portraying Veysel in the hit youth comedy-drama series "Pis Yedili" (2011–2014). His subsequent major breakthrough came with the phenomenon crime drama series "Çukur" (The Pit, 2017–2019), where he portrayed the character Çiyan (Veysel).
