Ilay Erkök

İlay Erkök was born on October 4, 1993, in Istanbul, Turkey. Her family originates from Manisa. She graduated from the Istanbul University State Conservatory and also received her acting education from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow. She began her acting career in 2013 with the role of young Demet in the series "Güneşi Beklerken" (Waiting for the Sun). She gained widespread popularity for her role as Yaren Şadoğlu in the drama series "Hercai" (2019-2021). She also appeared in "İnadına Aşk" (In Spite of Love, 2015-2016), "Hayatımın Aşkı" (The Love of My Life, 2016), and "Darısı Başımıza" (May It Be Upon Us, 2018). Her film credits include "Seni Gidi Seni" (You Go, You, 2017) and "İlk Öpücük" (The First Kiss, 2017). In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with friends. She dated singer and actor Keremcem, and in 2020, she began a relationship with basketball player Kerem Gülmez.
