Kenan Acar

Kenan Acar was born on March 6, 1990, in Izmir, Turkey. He is the only child of his family; his mother is a fashion designer, and his father is a fisherman. He earned a double degree in Business Administration, studying two years at Istanbul Technical University and two years at the State University of New York. He is fluent in English and is also learning Spanish, French, and Italian. He received his acting education at the Stella Adler Studio in New York, where he studied for two years, as well as at Craft Oyunculuk Atölyesi in Istanbul. He made his film debut in 2009 with "Ölüm Süvarileri" and began his television career in 2014 with the series "Medcezir" (Tide), playing Murat. Among his other works are the series "Cesur Yürek" (2016), "Meryem" (2017-2018), "Elimi Bırakma" (Hold My Hand, 2018-2019), "Çocuk" (The Child, 2019-2020), "Elbet Bir Gün" (2021), and "Yasak Elma" (Forbidden Apple, 2022), as well as the films "Papatya" (2017) and "Benim Adım Feridun" (2018). Before university, he played professional basketball for KSK and Tuborg. He enjoys boxing, athletics, yoga, roller skating, and motorcycles. In his free time, he likes to travel, read, and listen to music. In 2022, he founded his own clothing brand, "Masiva". He is single and has previously been in relationships with actresses Serenay Aktaş and Açelya Topaloğlu.
