Theater, film, television series actress, and model. Born on July 30, 1982, in Baku, Azerbaijan, and moved to Istanbul, Turkey, in 1993 at the age of 11. She graduated from Marmara University, Department of Cinema and Television, and subsequently completed a two-year professional acting course at the prestigious Şahika Tekand Studio Oyuncuları. Nesrin Cavadzade is one of the most brilliant, highly decorated, and iconic leading actresses in contemporary Turkish arts. Uniquely successful in both acclaimed art-house cinema and high-profile television dramas, she made her screen debut with the leading role in the series "Yersiz Yurtsuz." Immediately after, she starred in Cemal Şan’s feature film "Dilber'in Sekiz Günü," earning "Best Actress" awards at three separate domestic film festivals (Erzurum, Bursa, and Ankara). This success was followed by her critically praised performance in the movie "Acı" (Pain). Her festival dominance continued with her role as Anna in "Güzel Günler Göreceğiz" (2011), winning her a "Best Supporting Actress" Golden Orange Award at the 48th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival. In 2014, she secured her position in cinema history by winning the prestigious "Best Actress" Golden Orange Award for her magnificent performance in Kutluğ Ataman’s "The Lamb" (Kuzu). She also held leading roles in Erol Mintaş's "Song of My Mother" (Annemin Şarkısı) and the historical epic "The Last Letter" (Son Mektup). To global and mainstream audiences, Nesrin achieved legendary status with her unforgettable television roles: starring in the comedy-drama hit "Our Story" (Bizim Hikaye), portraying the brilliantly manipulative villainess Şahika Ekinci in the mega-hit drama "Forbidden Fruit" (Yasak Elma, 2019–2021), and playing Bahar in the action-crime series "The Three Pennies" (Üç Kuruş, 2021–2022). She later starred as Melisa in the drama series "My Wonderful Life" (Şahane Hayatım), solidifying her superstar standing.
