Uğur Uzunel

Uğur Uzunel was born on November 12, 1988 in Kadifekale, Izmir. Uzunel, whose passion for acting started at an early age, completed his education at Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Acting. The actor, who laid the foundations of his career on the theater stage, worked at the Bornova Municipality City Theater for many years, appeared on stage in plays such as "Penetrator" and "Istibdat Kumpanyası", and made versatile contributions to the theater by not only acting but also directing and playwriting. Uzunel, who entered the television world in 2012 with the series "Ağır Roman Yeni Dünya", later took part in productions such as "Kumbaradaki Future" and "Şeref Meselesi". However, the project for which he became known to a wide audience was the long-running series "Love and Blue" (2016-2018); He attracted attention with the character of İsmet Göreçki he portrayed here. Immediately afterwards, he proved that he could handle all kinds of roles and his comedic talent with the character of Şener in TRT's detective series "Halka", which reached cult status, and with the character of Erkut in the romantic comedy series "Afili Aşk". The biggest leap and popularity in Uğur Uzunel's career occurred with the phenomenon series "Masumlar Apartmanı" (2020-2022) broadcast on TRT 1 screens. In the series, he played the character of "Esat Bilen", Han's closest childhood friend. While it was initially a supporting role, it turned into one of the most loved main characters of the series, thanks to the pure, innocent and healing love story it experienced with the character Gülben, played by Merve Dizdar. Uzunel won the hearts of the audience by performing a naive performance symbolizing patience, love and loyalty in the role of Esat. The actor, who is active in cinema and digital platforms as well as TV series projects, has appeared in films such as "Until My Breath Takes Away" and "Strangers at Home". He was in the cast of Amazon Prime Video's first local movie, "Rüyanda Görürsun", and continued his career on television with series such as "Zifırıncı Gün" and "Bam Başka Biri".
