Yeşim Gül Akşar

Yeşim Gül Akşar, also known by her stage name Yeşim Gül, was born on 27 May 1966 in Ankara. She graduated from the theatre department of Hacettepe University State Conservatory. She has worked with the Istanbul State Theatre company, appearing in the plays "Tamamen Doluyuz," "Sevgili Hayat," and "İçerdekiler." She has appeared in more than 20 film and television projects. Her most notable works include the series "Bizim Evin Halleri" (2000), "Gülpare" (2006), "Oyun Bitti" (2007), "Tatlı Bela Fadime" (2007), "Gökten 3 Elma Düştü" (2008), "Ayışığı" (2008), "Ömre Bedel" (2009), "Dila Hanım" (2012), "Çırağan Baskını" (2014), "Alın Yazım" (2014–2015), "Cesur Yürek" (2016), "Aşk Yalanı Sever" (2016), "Yüzleşme" (2019), and "Another Love" (2023). In 2021 she appeared in the film "Kaderimin Oyunu," and in 2025 in the series "Cennetin Çocukları." Besides film and theatre acting, she is also active as a dubbing voice actress. She was previously married to actor Kazım Akşar; the couple later divorced and have no children. Kazım Akşar died on 28 February 2023.
