Be My Sunshine

Haziran is a driven, career-oriented city girl who loves the fast-paced life of Istanbul and cannot imagine living anywhere else. Her path crosses with Poyraz, a deeply grounded, hardworking young man who prefers the tranquility of a remote island. Poyraz has invested everything he has into his family's historic olive oil factory and is determined to protect his land from corporate development. The conflict begins when Haziran's company sends her to the island to investigate the landowner holding up a major resort project. Tricked by her boss into thinking Poyraz is an unfair businessman, Haziran obtains critical information that cuts off his bank loans. Upon realizing she was manipulated and has wrongfully ruined an innocent man’s livelihood, a guilt-ridden Haziran decides to stay on the island to undo the damage. She proposes a business partnership to Poyraz: converting an old, abandoned house into a trendy boutique hotel to help him pay off his debts. Poyraz accepts, completely unaware that his new partner is the source of his recent misfortunes. As they work together to build the hotel, the friction between their opposite personalities transforms into a deep romance, threatened only by the secret Haziran desperately hides.
