Plot: Feride is a spirited, rebellious orphan girl nicknamed "The Wren" (Çalıkuşu) due to her vibrant, mischievous nature. While attending an elite French boarding school in Istanbul, she spends her holidays at her aunt's mansion, growing up alongside her cousin Kâmran, a charming and ambitious young doctor. Their playful childhood bickering gradually transforms into a passionate, undeniable romance. However, on the eve of their wedding, Feride discovers a devastating secret about Kâmran's infidelity. Heartbroken and determined to maintain her dignity, she flees Istanbul to work as an idealistic teacher in the impoverished, remote villages of Anatolia, overcoming societal prejudice, poverty, and isolation while remaining bound to her past.
