Inside

The story follows the intense, high-stakes collision between two brilliant young men, Sarp Yılmaz and Mert Karadağ, who operate on opposite sides of the law. Sarp graduates at the top of his class from the police academy. However, his life is shadowed by a traumatic childhood event: his father, a notorious mafia hitman, was imprisoned, and his younger brother, Umut, was kidnapped. On graduation day, Sarp dramatically assaults Police Chief Yusuf Kaya and is sentenced to prison. This fall from grace is actually a cover story; Sarp becomes an undercover agent, infiltrating the criminal empire of the ruthless mafia boss, Celal Duman, going "inside" the syndicate. Mert is Sarp’s classmate from the academy who joins the police force as a successful detective, rapidly becoming Chief Yusuf’s trusted right-hand man in the organized crime unit. However, Mert is secretly Celal's mole "inside" the police department. Raised as a forced street child, Mert was rescued by Celal, who educated him and placed him inside the law enforcement system to protect his empire. The core tragedy of the narrative is that Mert is actually Umut, Sarp's long-lost younger brother. Neither man knows that the mortal enemy they are trying to outsmart and destroy is their own flesh and blood. Serving as a loose Turkish adaptation of Martin Scorsese's acclaimed film "The Departed", the series delivers a masterclass in suspense, tracking a complex web of corporate crime, tactical espionage, and a heartbreaking fraternal bond buried beneath years of deception.
