Hammer and Rose: A Behzat C. Story

Plot: Behzat Ç., the legendary, cynical, and fiercely rebellious head of the Ankara Homicide Unit, returns to the harsh and gritty streets of the capital with his loyal team. Together, they tackle the city's most complex and brutal murder cases. Beyond fighting street crime and ruthless murderers, Behzat finds himself entangled in high-level political corruption, dark conspiracies, and his own haunting personal traumas. As the line between justice and vengeance blurs, Behzat relies on his unconventional, uncompromising instincts to expose the truth hiding behind the dark alleys and elite halls of Ankara. Trivia: The series serves as a direct continuation and spin-off of the iconic Turkish neo-noir crime franchise "Behzat Ç. Bir Ankara Polisiyesi," based on the popular detective novels by Emrah Serbes. Produced by Ortaks Yapım exclusively for the digital streaming platform BluTV, the show brought back legendary actor Erdal Beşikçioğlu to reprise his signature role as Chief Inspector Behzat Ç. Fan favorites İnanç Konukçu and Berkan Şal also returned as key members of his homicide squad. The series garnered widespread critical acclaim for successfully preserving the original franchise's bleak atmosphere, sharp social commentary, realistic dark humor, and distinct Ankara identity.
