Strawberry Smell

Plot: Aslı is a hardworking, modest, and talented young woman who dreams of becoming a professional pastry chef. Burak is a wealthy, handsome, and irresponsible playboy who is the heir to a massive hotel chain empire. Their first encounter ends in a minor car accident that causes Aslı to lose her job at a local bakery. Destiny brings them together again when Aslı travels to Bodrum with her best friend to work at a resort hotel for the summer—only to discover that the hotel is owned by Burak's family. Despite their constant bickering, vastly different social backgrounds, and initial mutual dislike, an irresistible summer romance begins to blossom between them. Trivia: The series is an original romantic comedy produced by Gold Film and written by Aslı Zengin. It became a huge summer hit in Turkey in 2015, catapulting its lead actors, Demet Özdemir and Yusuf Çim, to widespread fame. The show helped solidify Demet Özdemir's career as one of Turkey's most sought-after romantic comedy actresses (leading to her later roles in global hits like "No 309" and "Daydreamer"). The main cast also featured Ekin Mert Daymaz. Off-screen, lead actors Demet Özdemir and Yusuf Çim began dating during the filming of the show, making headlines across Turkish media. The series enjoyed high international sales, being broadcast in over 30 countries across Latin America, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East.
