Underworld

Plot: Seeking retribution for his slain family, the fearless Haydar Ali kills his father's murderer and ends up behind bars. Inside prison, he earns the trust of Bozkurt "Bozo" Hanoğlu, the formidable leader of Istanbul's most powerful underground syndicate. Unbeknownst to the cartel, Haydar Ali is actually operating under the guidance of Yılmaz Doğan, a high-ranking intelligence chief aiming to dismantle the criminal empire from within. Released three years later, Haydar Ali infiltrates the mafia network, only to face a soul-crushing revelation: Ceylan, the love of his life whom he lost on the night of the shooting, is now married to Bozo. Trivia: Produced by Medyapım for the NOW network (debuted in January 2026), "Yeraltı" (*Underworld*) is directed by Murat Öztürk and written by Berna Aruz. The high-octane crime drama stars Deniz Can Aktaş, Uraz Kaygılaroğlu, and Devrim Özkan in the lead roles, alongside Mehmet Yılmaz Ak and Sümeyye Aydoğan. The series became an instant hit due to its intense action choreography, intricate deep-state plotlines, and the compelling romantic tension between an undercover agent and his target's wife.
